About

Hi, I'm Ollie.
I run Drop The Edge.

I started this studio at 18, partly because I was obsessed with design, partly because I'd watched too many small businesses look smaller than they were. That second part hasn't changed.

Every project that comes through Drop The Edge is run by me, personally. There's no account manager between us. No junior doing the work I sold you. No "we'll get back to you next Tuesday." You email me, I reply. You ask for changes, I make them. You launch, I'm still there.

I work fast, but I don't rush. I work hard, but I don't bloat. And I treat every brand — whether it's a sparkling water can or a £10m construction firm — like it's the only one I'm working on that week.

Why Drop The Edge?

Because design without an edge is just decoration. The edge — the thing that makes a brand yours — is the part I refuse to compromise on. Every project gets the same standard, whether the budget is £2k or £20k.

Beyond the screen.

When I'm not designing, I'm probably sailing, skiing, or somewhere new with a coffee. I'm also still learning Italian — slowly. I think creativity is what happens after you've stopped staring at the screen, so I make sure I do.

How I started.

I studied design through college but eventually decided to step away and get hands-on experience in the real world. After some time working in different industries, I found myself drawn back to what I love most — designing. That's when Drop The Edge was born. Since then, I've focused on helping brands stand out through purposeful, eye-catching visuals — from logos and branding to packaging, websites, and everything in between.

— Studio values

The values that run this studio.

Not slogans on a wall. The actual rules every project gets held against.

01

Work that outlasts the trend cycle

Bold, but engineered for longevity. A brand should still be defensible in five years.

02

Strategy before pixels, always

Every design decision has a reason. If it doesn't, we cut it.

03

Clear prices, clear timelines, clear answers

No hourly billing. No vague proposals. You'll know the number, the dates, and the scope before we start.

04

No client too small if the ambition is real

I'd rather work with a £2k founder going somewhere than a £20k one going nowhere.
